Casino Dock at Lake of the Ozarks

There is no Casino at Casino Pier. Casino Pier was established in the late 1940's as Casino Dock.

It was adjacent to the Lakeside Casino Restaurant. The dock was at the heart of the activity in the area. Boat cruises departed from the docks there.

The name was changed around 1961 to Casino Pier. The Lakeside Casino Restaurant burned down in the 1980's. The site of the restaurant currrently serves as an overlook to the lake.

There is a lot of history at Casino Pier. More will be posted here. In the mean time take look at Historian Mike Gillespie's lake history pages
